About Us
Welcome to Inner Reflections Therapy, a psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping individuals develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being. We believe that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves more deeply and creating space for reflection, growth, and healing.
Inner Reflections Therapy provides virtual psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults across Ontario. We support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma-related concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, grief, and emotional overwhelm.
Our therapeutic approach
Our therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other therapeutic techniques, we work collaboratively to help clients develop practical coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and move toward meaningful life goals.
At Inner Reflections Therapy, we value compassion, authenticity, cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and respect for each individual’s lived experience. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.
Founded by Khadeja Tahir, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Inner Reflections Therapy is committed to providing accessible, client-centered care that empowers individuals to create lasting and meaningful change in their lives.

Khadeja Tahir
Hello, and welcome.
I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while working toward meaningful change.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and over seven years of experience in mental health, higher education, and community-based mental health initiatives. I have worked with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, grief, trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, academic concerns, and life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I draw from evidence-informed approaches such as CBT, REBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions, detached mindfulness, and other therapeutic techniques that support emotional well-being and resilience.
At the heart of my work is the belief that lasting change begins with understanding. Together, we explore patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be connected to current struggles. This process of inner reflection can help clients connect the dots between past and present experiences, uncover deeper schemas, and develop a greater understanding of themselves.
I strive to provide culturally responsive and faith-sensitive care. For clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual or religious values into therapy, these perspectives can be respectfully integrated into the therapeutic process.
In addition to psychotherapy, I have facilitated mental health workshops and training programs for schools, universities, community organizations, and workplaces, including student well-being, anti-bullying, anti-Islamophobia, teacher and principal training, and child protection initiatives.
Whether you are facing a specific challenge or seeking greater self-understanding and personal growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing and well-being.
